Princess is the Pea is a take on the original fairytale where this time instead of sleeping atop a stack of matresses on top of a pea, the princess herself is a pea pod lounging atop a stack of comfy pillow and a decorative pea base.  Pieces were sculpted and fired separately, and then attached together upon completion. Princess is one of my personal favorites! I really enjoyed sculpting her form and also playing with all the small details both in sculpting and glazing.
