Violet is a creation born out of several extra wheel-throwing demo pieces. I had so many cute little bowls that I didn't have the heart to recycle but also didn't want to glaze a bunch of bowls. So I began playing with different combinations until the basic body was formed. The neck and feet were sculpted by hand, and details were added to bring her all together. I had a lot of fun (and trouble) sculpting realistic little, chunky baby feet and getting her to stand balanced on them. I really enjoyed glazing this piece.
